The Full Story

EWT began in 1979 as an operator of worldwide natural history tours for zoos, museums, alumni associations and other not-for-profits. Today EWT has divisions specializing in photographic African safaris, and experiential private journeys to Asia. You can travel with a scheduled group tour, or as your own private group or family tour.

When it comes to Asia, EWT's expertise has evolved over decades or research & field trips. We look to design itineraries that step outside of the norm, and offer clients a chance to visit destinations seldom explored by others. Our philosophy is to always prioritize the experience & location over the accommodation. This may mean on occasion staying in more humble lodgings, but we ask you to trust us, and believe that the experiences will make it worthwhile.
